Tango Mar Beachfront Hotel and Villas is a well-hidden secret on the deserted beach of Quizales on the Nicoya Peninsula, on Costa Rica’s Pacific Coast.

Tango Mar is easily accessed by land or by air. If you are driving from the capital city of San Jose, a 2-hour drive will take you to the port of Puntarenas.

Here you will board a ferry crossing the Gulf of Nicoya to the town of Paquera, taking about an hour.

Choose a spot where you can observe the waters, and weather permitting, you can catch a glimpse of dolphins, pelicans and marine turtles along the way. Once off the ferry in Paquera, a short 45-minute drive will get you to Tango Mar.

By plane from San Jose to Cobano is a short 25 minutes flight.

From Liberia airport takes 4 hours and 30 min. drive or you can take a 30 min. local flight to Cobano.
